Easily Connect or Pair Your Beltone Hearing Aids to iPhone

When you purchase new Beltone hearing aids, you get the convenience of having a digital control center. From the comfort of your iPhone, you can adjust various settings on your device and even connect it to other digital devices for more precise streaming. The first step in taking advantage of the Beltone Hearing Max app is to connect your hearing aids to your phone.

Get Everything Prepped

You want to start by inserting a fresh battery into your hearing aids. Avoid shutting the battery door on your devices as you don't want them to turn on just yet. Go ahead and open up your iPhone.

You'll want to turn on your Bluetooth connection via your phone's Control Center. This Control Center is typically assessed by dragging from the top of your screen down or from the bottom of your screen up.

Go to the Accessibility Menu

Once your Bluetooth icon is in the on position, it's time to turn on accessibility mode. You'll do this by first going to your iPhone's main settings. Click the General category and then click Accessibility.

Now, close the battery doors on both of your hearing aids. As they power up, you should see Hearing Devices under the Accessibility menu. Go ahead and click on Hearing Devices. Select the model number of hearing aid that you have on the following menu.

Pairing Your Beltone Hearing Aids to Your iPhone

Your hearing aids should automatically connect to your phone. When this happens, the name of your hearing aids will turn from black to blue, and there will be a blue checkmark next to it. When the dialogue box comes up, click the Pair button.

It's crucial to note that if you're pairing two different hearing aids, you'll receive two different dialogue boxes with requests for pairing your hearing aids. It may take a few seconds before the second request comes through.

When each hearing aid is attempting to pair with your device, it can take up to two full minutes until it's complete. During this time, don't stream anything over your devices as it could interfere with the pairing process and require you to start all over again.

Pairing Options

Most hearing aid users will opt to connect their hearing devices with their iPhones. However, it's important to note that your Beltone hearing aids can be paired with different Apple devices. These include iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch models.
